VodaDigitec Corp., founded in 1998 in Massachusetts, has brought together a team of experts with extensive experience in digital audio and video, including architecture, algorithms and compression technology.
Our vision was to create a company and brand name that would be recognized worldwide for providing quality and cost effective security solutions for both the home and business.
From 1999 through 2001, we commenced development of our plan. We immediately recognized that analog solutions for security were rapidly becoming obsolete. Seeing this as a major opportunity, we started using our strong connections in Korea to develop digital solutions to security issues.
Our vision included home security without monthly service fees, business security that enabled easy remote location monitoring, and greater data storage capabilities with simpler retrieval potential.
In 2001, we identified two key points that would significantly alter the Company's immediate future:
First, the change in the security industry to digital technology, while certainly imminent, was occurring at a slower pace than originally projected.
Second, both large and small businesses were looking for solutions that would enable them to achieve greater control over their operations while giving them the opportunity to increase their sales.
With these points in mind, our company shifted its major focus away from its security products and commenced the development of its business solution products.
This effort resulted ultimately in the creation of our POS product, a business breakthrough that combines physical security, sales enhancement, and business software features.
